Parent and Friends Association meeting

We had a very positive meeting on Monday night and I want to thank all of you that attended. I’d like to welcome the new office bearers to their role. Thank you to all parents and carers for your ongoing support in all matters.

A fond farewell to Mrs Henry

We have to bid a fond farewell to Mrs Henry who, after a number of years supporting our school, has decided to retire from teaching at half term. Mrs Henry has thoroughly enjoyed her time with all of our pupils, past and present, but feels that now is the time to enjoy the next stage in her life. I’m sure you will join us in wishing her well.

A replacement PE teacher is currently being arranged by SBC Headquarters and I will keep you informed of developments.

Playground activities

We are looking to develop our playground and would like to provide some interesting activities for the children. Playing with ‘bits and bobs’ is great for developing imaginative play. Do you have any old drain pipes, pallets, lengths of timber or old tarpaulin that we could have? Please bring any items to the school. Thank you

Achievements Assembly

Next Tuesday morning will be the first of our new Achievement Assemblies. If your child(ren) have any recent (within the last month) successes they would like to share, please send certificates or awards into school on Tuesday morning. We will showcase their accomplishments with the school and then display their achievement on our new Achievements Wall. Thank you
