The show is coming soon! If you haven’t already told us how many seats you would like for the evening’s performance, please contact the school office. We are asking for a £2 donation on entry to include refreshments.
Christmas Jumper Day
NEXT Friday – 16th December – is National Christmas Jumper Day. Children are invited to join in this event and wear a Christmas jumper to school. A suggested donation of £1 will be collected in aid of our local ‘Cash 4 Kids: Mission Christmas’ appeal. Thank you.
The children will be enjoying a Christmas party on Tuesday 20th December. Children should come to school in their uniform but bring party clothes to change in to.

Mrs Henry has been back in school this week and returns next week to support P4-7 pupils with their social dance skills. We really appreciate her giving up her own time to help the pupils in this way.
There has been lots of excitement in nursery this week as the children have started getting busy on all the Christmas crafts and learning Christmas songs.
We have been doing our advent calendar. We pick a name out of the bag and that person gets the chocolate for that day. We have had a Christmas story every day. We have been practising our Christmas play. We are excited to share it with our grown-ups. We have been counting up to ten. Jack practised counting up when he was building with the blocks. We have been practising making words and sentences.
This week we have been practising our nativity play. The choir made and decorated wonderful crowns. We were so excited.
In P.E. we are doing sequences on the bench. In our expressive arts we have been drawing ancestors that we might have had. It was very funny.

This week P567 have been really busy. We have been practising for our Christmas show. The class are very excited as their show (Hosanna Rock) is coming up soon. In P.E, P 567s have started to do Scottish dancing, “I’m happy because Mrs Henry came in to do P.E with us,” Mia said. They have all been doing decimals in maths. “I think some is easy but some is hard too,” says Freya. And also, as their topic is natural disasters, they have made reports on the earthquake in New Zealand. We have also had a visit from Gemma, a florist from Eyemouth. We decorated fake poinsettias. We used wire to connect the beads. Then they were displayed in Coldingham Priory.
