Newsletter 4 June 2018

P7 Residential: Our Primary 7s had a fantastic time away at their Kingswood residential camp. They had 3 days of fun, adventure and challenge and all enjoyed themselves. Special thanks to Mrs Easingwood for supervising the group for the duration.

A note from Mr Bewsey: I am very aware that last week you received news of my new post commencing in August. I am equally aware that I was then out of school for the remainder of the week supervising our P7 pupils at Kingswood. I wanted to pass on my thanks to those of you that have given me words of encouragement and support. My decision was not taken lightly as I have invested the past 3 years in Coldingham Primary. However, the time is now right for me to move on and allow someone else to lead this wonderful school.

School uniforms: School uniforms can be ordered from Border Embroideries on line at www.beschoolwear.co.uk or also from Fantasy Prints, Berwick –online at www.fpuniformz.com , at the shop or through the school. Please find attached an order form and a 10% discount voucher for Fantasy prints.

Duck race: Please find attached duck race forms. Please try and sell the ducks and return forms to the school next Monday 11 June. Please return any incomplete forms so the ducks can be sold elsewhere.

P1,2

Last week P1/2 finished their Ducks’ Day Out Project. We wrote down what the characters might have said. We have written an assembly and hope people will enjoy it. We really enjoyed the show and tell this week. People spoke very well with interesting things to talk about.

This week in Primary 1/2 we performed our assembly. We were excited and nervous. Our teacher said we were brilliant! We were proud to show our learning to our parents and carers. We drew some lovely plant pictures with Mr Bewsey and Ms Clubb. They all look really like the flowers Ms Clubb brought in.
