Coming up

Friday 15th June: Open morning and Sports Day. We would like to invite you to visit classrooms on the morning of Friday 15th June and then join us for our annual Sports Day on the village playing fields. TIMINGS: Open morning, 8.45 – 9.30 (a chance to see your child’s work from this past year); Sports Day, 10 – 11.45pm. Pupils will be in houses for the sports and should try and wear the appropriate colour t-shirt for their house. Applin – Yellow, Cairn – Blue & Priory – Red.

Friday 15th June: Family picnic – at the end of our Sports morning, families are invited to join us back at school for a family picnic in the playground. Children will get a school brunch (if ordered). All welcome from 12 – 12.25pm.

Friday 15th June: PFA Duck Race at 12.45pm – to conclude our busy ‘family day’, please join us for the annual PFA Duck Race. Don’t forget to ‘buy a duck’.

Tuesday 19th June: The whole school will be heading down to Coldingham Sands for our end-of-term Beach Fun session. The generic EV2 signed at the start of the year will cover this trip. If you do not want your child to attend, please contact the school. Extra helpers welcome! Please let Sheila know if you can join us.

Tuesday 26th June: We will be hosting our End of year celebration assembly including the Primary 7 Leavers presentation. All family and friends are warmly invited. As a change to the previous timings shared, this event will start at 9am and be finished by 10am.

Farewell Mrs Brodie: For the past 2 years, Mrs Brodie has been working in our school every Tuesday as our Support for Learning teacher. She has played a significant role in helping to meet the learning needs of all of our pupils. Mrs Brodie is leaving us to start a new job in Perthshire and we wish her and her family all the best.

School uniforms: School uniforms can be ordered from Border Embroideries on line at www.beschoolwear.co.uk or also from Fantasy Prints, Berwick –online at www.fpuniformz.com , at the shop or through the school.

Duck race: Please try and sell the ducks. Please return any incomplete forms so the ducks can be sold elsewhere.
